In January 2020, there was one contract code VN30F2001 expired on 17th January 2020 and HNX additionally listed code VN30F2009 on 18th January 2020 as a replacement. Therefore, at the end of December 2019, there were 4  contract codes traded namely: VN30F2002, VN30F2003, VN30F2006, VN30F2009 and 3 codes of Government bond futures namely: GB05F2003, GB05F2006 and GB05F2009. 
About VN30 futures, in January 2020, the market liquidity decreased slightly compared to the previous month, the average trading volume reached 78,600 contracts/session, decreased by 1.63% compared to the previous month. In particular, the session had highest trading volume was on 31st January 2020 with 139,807 contracts, increased by 6% compared to the highest number of the previous month.

The volume of Open Interests (OI) decreased by 1.79% compared to December 2019. It reached 16,327 contracts on 31st January 2020, the highest number of OI in January 2020 reached 20,472 contracts in the trading session on 8th January, decreased by 4.3% compared to the highest number of OI in December 2019.
For Government Bonds Futures, there was no trading contracts in January 2010 as well as no OI volume at the end of the month.
