After
a period of strong trading growth, the derivatives market at Hanoi Stock
Exchange in August tended to be quieter than the previous month.
Futures contracts - VN30 index had an average trading volume of
254,810 contracts/session, down 10.92% compared to July, but it was still a
month with second high average volume from the beginning of the year.
In August, the session with the highest trading volume reached 356,879
contracts on August 23, 2021.
